If you tend to buy a lot of products off the internet, you’ll undoubtedly have to remember to keep track of countless numbers of packages and parcels on their way to be delivered to your door.
The chances are, different packages are being delivered by different couriers too, so if you want to keep track of them all it’s a pretty difficult task! But of course, with every difficult task comes an iPhone app that takes care of it for you, and this is no exception.
Enter the Parcel iPhone app. It’s a free download from the App Store that allows you to keep track of deliveries from 6 different couriers, including the Royal Mail for those of us in the UK. You can choose from DHL, FedEx, Royal Mail, TNT, UPS and USPS for your delivery, and then simply provide a description of the good that’s being shipped to you, and the tracking number for the parcel.
Each option is tailored specifically to the company, so if you select to track a Royal Mail delivery, you’ll have to enter a 13 symbol tracking number. On the other hand, if you’re using a different service such as UPS, an 11 or 18 symbol tracking number will be required. This ensures that you don’t make any mistakes when entering the tracking number, so you get to check the right parcel!
It’s a useful iPhone app for keeping track of those deliveries from your cheap online shopping and an extended version is available as an in-app purchase for which allows you to track more than three deliveries at a time and enable push notifications too. If you want to download the Parcel iPhone app, it’s a free download in the App Store.
