I thought I’d give a little update as to how I’ve been using Twitter and what I currently think to it given my initial Twitter scepticism for the service when I first started blogging over 18 months ago — how times have changed, how those archives can come back to haunt you! 😉
If you’ve been following Zath on Twitter for the past few weeks you’ll already know that I tend to go through days of several Twitter updates to somewhere I may only reply to other people’s Twitter — essentially using it as a chat or IM service. Either way, I’m finding that the Twitter community is a great one to be a part of and have found people answering questions that I’ve Twittered even though we may not have chatted before.
Simon Barker is the founder and editor of Zath and has over 25 years worth of experience of using computers and technology in general. He can normally be found researching or testing the latest in technology products.
He has provided IT consultancy services to both home and small business users for over 15 years, building PCs, fixing hardware/software problems and providing comprehensive training.
Simon always likes to get the best out of the technology he is using, by both making informed decisions of what products to purchase and also optimising how it is then used to get the most benefits possible.
If you’d like to follow and/or contact him on Twitter, please feel free to do so – @SimonBarker.
