Zath Premiership 07/08 – End of Season Results!

The Zath Premiership recently reached the finishing line after a long, hard season that has run in parallel with and was based upon the English Premier League football season.

In the previous season, Zath Premiership 06/07 was won by my very own team, the mighty Zath Rovers – I even won on merit with no cheating or paying off of goalkeepers or anything else that the tabloids could have made up to take the shine off my title win!

However, this year Zath Rovers have only managed to finished 4th in the league – I do have to admit that I probably threw away the title by getting rid of Ronaldo for one week – the week where he scored a ridiculous amount of points – now there’s my worst managerial decision!

We’ve had several changes in who’s been top of the table during the last 9 months in a very competitive league, but we now have a winner for this season’s title and a first time winner at that! – “jinxed_xi” are the new champions, obviously not quite so jinxed under the wise football management of Andrew Potter!

Thanks to everyone who took part this season, hope you all enjoyed it and will be coming back for more next season! Anyone who thinks they could be up to the challenge of taking part in Zath’s fantasy football league next season, then please leave a comment below and I’ll keep you updated of when you can register your team for the Zath Premiership 08/09 which should be in July or early August.
