Zath Getting Advice for Profit
A couple of weeks ago I left a comment on one of Garry Conn’s posts as I often do, in this case it was one that was dealing with which type of programs make the most money on a blog – I basically said that Adsense was the top earner for me, but I probably wasn’t earning quite as much as I could be for a several reasons.
Another commentator on this post was Aaron Abber from FullTiltBlogging.com who knows that ads are the least effective way to earn an income from a blog. He then contacted me and offered to give me some advice on how to make money blogging with Zath.co.uk and is writing a series of posts on his blog about helping me to improve my blog and its money-earning potential.
Take a look at the first of Aaron’s posts called “Make Money Blogging with Zath.co.uk”. You may have already seen that I’ve implemented some of his suggestions here on the site such as adding categories and a tag cloud to the sidebar, hopefully you as a reader will like them and find these useful!
I’m now working on putting some of his other great suggestions into practice, if you’ve got a blog I’d recommend you take a trip to see his very useful blogging site – FullTiltBlogging where I’ve spent a lot of time reading some other really useful posts on how to make money blogging!

Cheers Zath, I have gone over and subscribed so I can keep up.
Adsense is a dead earner for me and it was compromising the quality of my blog so I reduced it’s presence! Maybe I made a mistake!

Forest – well obviously a few days after I wrote that and added up for the month, I realised that affiliate earnings ended up being more for March, typical eh? LOL
I think like Aaron says, Adsense and other forms of advertising can be good to a point, given they are “easy” and require attention once set up, but other forms of income generation can be far better.
That said, Adsense success obviously depends on the audience and how you implement it.
