Xbox 360 Controller Keyboard
While I was outlining some of the details of the new Xbox 360 Dashboard update yesterday, I did make mention with regard to one of them of a concern I had – namely the fact that it takes me forever to type out short messages to Xbox friends already, let alone whole conversations to MSN Live Messenger contacts – what you need is an Xbox controller keyboard.
Well it would appear that Microsoft have already considered this one and are going to be releasing a new text input add-on for existing controllers which plugs into the headset port. The Xbox controller keyboard add-on is essentially a mini QWERTY keyboard, but one that’s been very well designed to integrate into the existing controller rather than people having to buy a new one or use a cumbersome full-size USB keyboard in front of their TVs.
Click the images below for a closer look. What do you think to it? I’ll definitely be getting one when they’ll released.

That’s pretty handy. I wish there was a wireless keyboard for the Wii. I could surf the Internet quicker.

I do think that this is a great addition for Microsoft to make – I’m sure there’s many that would have tried to sell a whole new controller/keyboard at a much higher cost.
