Xbox 360 Bargain – ‘Halo 3′ – Should I Buy It?
Well I’ve still not played any of the Halo games yet, but given everyone seems to rave about Halo and the Master Chief, I’m guessing I really should check out what all the hype is about – which I’m intending to do when I see Halo 3 on Xbox 360 for a suitably cheap bargain price!
The suitably priced bargain may just have been found! You can now pick up Halo 3 for a rather reasonable £29.99 from ShopTo, in fact I’d go so far to say that’s very reasonable given it’s only been released for a few weeks!
Now I’m thinking to myself, should I buy it now? I’ve not played many first person shooters on Xbox 360 since I prefer the good old keyboard and mouse control system of my PC – should I get it regardless of that? Is it an easy thing to overcome once you start playing the game? Also is there catchcup I need to play in terms of the storyline so far?

I just purchased Halo: Combat Evolved about 3 weeks ago, and while it is a good game, to me I didn’t think that it compared with Quake 2 graphically (and it came out about 6 years earlier!). Probably the online gameplay is what made it great, from what I’ve heard.

Well I’ve decided that with my current issues of lack of time due to work and other commitments, I’m going to perhaps get Halo 3 for Christmas and put some time aside while I have some leave from work.
I current games “to-play list” includes Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Sega Rally, Football Manager, Half Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2. – I didn’t realise there was so many till I listed them out!

I’ve still not bought this actually, I’ve read a few conflicting opinions on it, but do want to play it at some point – although as you can see from my recent Blog Banter post, I’m playing or selling games I already own before buying new ones!
