7 World of Warcraft TV Adverts (Video)

World of Warcraft (or WoW) is a game that I’ve been playing for a few months now and by doing so have now joined up with over 8 million other people who subscribe and play this game, that’s a larger population than a lot of the countries in the world! – Now that’s quite literally…WoW!
I’ve just seen these latest adverts for World of Warcraft that feature some familiar faces on the WoW website today, then less than an hour later, I saw one of these adverts being shown on a British TV channel.
What do you think to these? Does this mean World of Warcraft is really becoming mainstream now they can make fun adverts like this?
1. Mr. T aka ‘BA Baracus from the A-Team’ being a Night Elf Warrior…errrr Mohawk!
2. William Shatner aka ‘Captain Kirk from Star Trek’ being a Shaman
3. Verne ‘Mini-Me’ Troyer plays as a mage
4. Jean-Claude Van Damme being a french mage
5. Steve Van Sandt (Silvio) – Just when he thought he was out!
6. Ozzie Osbourne being the ‘Prince of Darkness’

The other day I was watching TV and came across the Mr. T ad. I don’t think I’ve been so captivated by an ad for some time now. What a great commercial. It has everything I want. Mr. T and an MMORPG.
This is the first time I’ve seen the Shatner one. Great post.
I think this WoW advert is much better than the Snickers one Mr T recently did which seemed like some very over-the-top marketing person had thought it up, whereas these are rather cool, short ads that grab your attention!
Really cool and short ads, well thought off.
Those are pretty good. I especially like the Mr T one.
Mr T is doing a lot recently. Makes me happy though, he is hilarious!
It is good to see Mr T back doing things on TV, it’s been quite a while, before these recent ads, I’m guessing the last things he did were the A-Team and Rocky?
In France we also see Jean-Claude Van Damme promoting the game
Thx for that info HiFi Guy, I wasn’t aware of that, but I then went and looked it up on YouTube – I don’t understand all of it, but it looks to be in the same spirit as the others, very cool!
