White iPhone 4 Delayed Yet Again, Shipping ‘Later This Year’

You just have to feel sorry for Apple’s iPhone team at the moment. The iPhone 4 has suffered problem after problem since its release, with the antenna issues reported by some users, and the continued delays of the white iPhone.
It seems that those of you waiting to get your hands on the white iPhone 4 may have to wait even longer than expected, after a second delay has been announced by Apple. The new due date for the device is now reported as ‘later this year’.
Apple has released a brief statement, saying “White models of Apple’s new iPhone® 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.”
If you were hoping to get your hands on the device yourself anytime soon, you may have to think again. The good news, of course, is that you can still buy a black iPhone 4 between now and September 30th and get a free bumper case as part of the deal, so it may still be a good time to upgrade that iPhone 3GS of yours.

Okay.. so now I have to wait until “later this year” to get this IPhone… I think i’ll take the black one instead.
I think the black one looks more stylish than the white one, and if you REALLY want to get a white iPhone, then why not get a white case for it?
