USB Tape Express – Audio Cassette Tape To MP3 Converter
The USB Tape Express is an ingenious piece of technology that converts almost any type of audio cassette into digital audio for your PC and/or MP3 player.
Connecting via USB, the device uses EZ tape converter software, compatible with Windows or Mac OS X to guide you through the transfer to MP3. Firebox.com claims the software to be ‘idiot-proof’ so it should be an easy enough process for just about anyone to use, perhaps your parents will find this item particularly useful and would be able to tell you about these strange items they used to use in their youth – audio cassette tapes!
The device can output audio through a 3.5mm connection used by most headphones, stereos or speakers as well as transfer the files which make it an excellent all round solution for resurrecting those old tapes of Radio 1 top 40 countdowns from yesteryear – or perhaps a special someone made you a “mix-tape” back in your youth and you could use this to re-visit those memories!
This modern-take on the audio cassette tape device can be powered either by USB when transferring files, or 2xAA for when you’re out and about. And although the tapes themselves are perhaps from last millennium, this device isn’t as big as you might expect. It fits in your pocket and is barely bigger than the tape itself which means you can carry it easily with it being not a lot more of a nuisance than a regular MP3 player.
The USB Tape Express can be yours for a modest £49.95 which could be considered a bargain when you’re reminiscing with your family this Christmas – also on that theme, you might also want to consider the USB Vinyl Record Turntable Player too!

Dear Sir,
Will this converter separate individual tracks to MP3?
If it converts as one full track from the whole cassette, this would be unstisfactory.
Please comment
Sincerely
Arthur Shaw

Personally, i have never used this before. I am guessing that the software takes care of that and allows you to create seperate mp3 files.
