Three Mobile iPhone 4 Tariff / Price Plans Detailed

iphone-4-front-side-viewWhilst Three Mobile’s price plans for the iPhone 4 may be cheaper than T-Mobile and other carriers of the phone, they are only available on a 24-month contract, which could immediately put people off tying themselves down to the network for that length of time. Would that bother you? Or do you think it’ll be another 2 years before we see the next major re-design of the iPhone?

3 Mobile iPhone 4 Tariffs / Price Plans

Anyway, onto the costs of getting an iPhone 4 on the 3 Mobile network…you can get yourself a 16Gb iPhone 4 for £99 when you sign up to the basic £30 per month deal with Three and for that you will have 500 minutes plus 5000 Three-to-Three minutes, along with 5000 texts and 1Gb of data. That to me doesn’t sound half bad, though the 24-month duration may prove a little irritating for some.

For an extra £5 per month you will just get an extra 400 any network minutes, while every other aspect remains the same including the £99 handset price. However, take the £40 per month deal and you will only have to fork out £59 for the handset and receive 2000 anytime minutes, while keeping 5000 texts and 5000 Three-to-Three minutes and 1Gb of Internet. The premium plan will cost you £45 per month and for that you get a free handset and all the same inclusive minutes and texts as the £40 per month plan.

If you’d like the 32Gb iPhone 4 handset though, the plans remain the same but you will obviously have to spend a little extra on the handset. That means you will pay £189 for the handset on either the £30 or £35 per month contract, or £149 for the £40 per month deal, or £89 on the £45 per month deal.

Summary

Overall this 3 Mobile iPhone 4 tariff option seems cheaper than the T-Mobile iPhone 4 tariff unveiled this week, however the length of the contract is an extremely important factor and depending on your preferences and fickle nature you may want to dig a little deeper to find the perfect contract for you.

Will you be tempted to get an iPhone 4 on the Three Mobile network? Does the contract prices seem reasonable to you? What’s the 3 Mobile signal coverage like in your area? Perhaps important if you consider the potential iPhone 4 antenna problems? What would be the deciding factor for you?
