Sega Toylet – New Games Console…For Urinals
Written by Ender on January 9, 2011 · Filed under Gadgets, Games
I had to read through this a few times before it sunk in what I was actually reading. But it seems as though Sega has made a very odd ‘console’, no it’s not like their old Sega Megadrive console, it’s actually for Japanese urinals and it’s called a “Toylet”.
Only in Japan…well, Tokyo to be precise.
The console works using pressure sensors and you can even select mini games from the LCD situated above each urinal. How many people wash their hands before using them I wonder.
So what do you get to play using nothing but the power of your own pee? Well there’s a game to erase graffiti, a simple game which measures the power of your pee, which I find highly amusing. You can just imagine some guy standing there with a 2 litre bottle of liquid and holding off for 12 hours to unleash like Old Faithful!
Another game has you simulating wind to blow up a lady’s skirt and another game, which is a multiplayer I might add, has milk gushing from your nose and sprays it at your opponents with the one who pee’s hardest, having the best chance of winning.
That’s not all! You can even download your high scores onto a USB memory stick……………
The whole idea of the screens is for advertisement with the added bonus of playing urine based games. Who’d have thought? What’s next? A toilet game which measures the weight of your dump to crush buildings?
I don’t think this ‘Toylet’ idea will ever leave the shores of Japan, and I for one hope it doesn’t because this really is a step too far. Or maybe it’d look nice in my bathroom?
What do you think? Do you wish Sega would release the Toylet on British shores? Let us know in the comments below.
