World of Warcraft Graphics Upgrade?

Do you think that a World of Warcraft graphics upgrade is needed? I was recently talking with a friend about the potential requirement for this and thought that this would make for an interesting discussion here too!
He was basically saying that having looked at the other major MMORPGs on the market, most of them have had graphical updates to their game engines in the last year. By doing this the developers then hope to extend the life of the current game by keeping existing players and potentially gaining new ones off the back of the improved graphics, however I wasn’t convinced that Blizzard would be taking the same approach with World of Warcraft.

The World of Warcraft: Wrath of Lich King trailer has now been released (both cinematic and gameplay trailers) and I think it’s looking quite impressive…if you’re WoW fan at least!
I’ve not been taking much notice of the previews for this World of Warcraft expansion pack yet as I’ve been busy trying to level up my single character, a Night Elf Hunter (called Zath on the Khadgar server, look me up and say hello if you’re ever on Khadgar) up to the current maximum level 70. It’s taken me over a year to get to get to maximum level - I certainly haven’t been power levelling!

I’ve been trying to play World of Warcraft and progress my Night Elf Hunter towards level 70 as I outlined as one of my New Years Gaming Resolutions - which I’m not doing too badly with - I’ve now moved on from level 54 to 63 in 2.5 months!
World of Warcraft South Park!

I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for around 6 months now, it’s a great game which provides me with a good bit of distraction from work, that being the case, I’m always on the lookout for any related content I can find, particularly when it’s funny!
Just recently I saw the the full South Park episode called ‘Make Love Not Warcraft’ and if you’re a fan of either of these things, you should definitely check it out - there’s lots of great jokes in the show about WoW and online games in general. Leeroy Jenkins Video, mention that phrase in the last year and many gamers would know exactly what you’re talking about - a YouTube video of a bunch of World of Warcraft players in the process of trying to complete a quest. If you haven’t played World of Warcraft yet, then I suggest you pick up this cheap bargain of a game and give it go, it’s lots of fun and I’m sure you won’t regret it!
I personally first saw this Leeroy Jenkins Video a couple of months - most probably because it coincided with me starting to play World of Warcraft, when I get chance that is, which isn’t as often as I’d like. A friend of mine mentioned it again the other day and I just had to watch it again, so I hope you also appreciate seeing it again if you already seen it before.

Wow! The Simpsons is a show that I used to watch a lot of, however I kind of stopped watching new episodes of The Simpsons a few years back since I preferred the humour and subject matter in Futurama (which is back) - even after they cancelled it! - grumble, grumble!
However, I’ve just seen this clip from a recent Simpsons episode where they have done a parody of the World of Warcraft game which is pretty good - so if you’ve ever played any role playing games before, this should amuse you!
