‘The Gathering Hall’ – Monster Hunter Gaming Centre Opened

To co-incide with the release of the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite game on the Sony PSP, Capcom have on the 3rd July 2009 opened the The Gathering Hall which is a dedicated gaming centre located in Central London – not far from Tottenham Court Road tube station in fact!
You might be wondering why they’ve done this, Capcom are trying to replicate their social gaming success that they’ve enjoyed with Monster Hunter in Japan where these games have over 3 million players and out-sold both Pokemon and Wii Fit last year – now you certainly don’t hear that kind of statistic very often!

Can you really say that you’re surprised to hear news of Wii Fit Plus? Especially after Nintendo unveiled Wii Motion Plus at last year’s E3 event?
Wii Fit was a massive success following its release and has since sold over 15 million units so far. So why wouldn’t Nintendo release a ‘sequel’ to its biggest seller since the Wii was released.

Once again, another master stroke from Nintendo. Just when you thought the Wii couldn’t get any better, they come up with Wii Fit.
When the Wii was first announced with the Wii Remote, a lot of people were sceptical about how good the Wii Remote would actually be. The same thoughts applied with the Wii Balance Board.
It’s technological brilliance!
