If I hadn’t just purchased a 2TB USB 2.0 external hard drive a few months ago, I’d be ecstatic about the sheer amount of USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed USB) announcements being made at CES this year! Many of the laptops on show come with USB 3.0 built in, and for those people who don’t have the new USB standard available to them yet, the new external hard drives being released also come with the option of paying a little more to be shipped with a USB 3.0 adapter.
