Uncharted 3 In Development? (PS3 Rumour)
January 18, 2010
It’s officially…unofficial. Uncharted 3 is going to be hitting the PS3 perhaps sooner than we thought.
Nolan North who is the voice and the mo-cap actor for Nathan Drake, the star of Uncharted in case you were wondering, has said that he’s back this year working on Uncharted 3. Following on from the impressive Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and the amazing Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, why wouldn’t Naughty Dog bring us another Uncharted? It’s immensely entertaining, immensely popular, so it’d be stupid not to make another.

Since I completed Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, I’ve been dying to get my hands on the sequel which was finally released at the end of 2009. It took me a while to get my hands on a copy, but thanks to Santa, I’ve now had my Uncharted 2: Among Thieves fix and am eagerly awaiting the 3rd instalment of Drakes’ adventures.
Uncharted 2 has been something else that everyone has been raving about and calling it the best game of the year and giving it high marks and I can see why. It really is like being involved in a blockbuster film at times and it’s great to watch. But you have to remember that you’re still playing a game otherwise you’ll end up getting Drake killed for the umpteenth time.
The story is set not too long after the events of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. Sully’s gone into retirement and Elena has become a professional broadcaster. But of course Drake is still on his adventures and it’s not long before he gets enticed into another one. This time around, Drake is after something called the Cintamani Stone and was allegedly found by Marco Polo the world renowned explorer in Shambhala (or Shangri-La).

Ever since playing Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, I’ve been dying to get my hands on a sequel, which is why I added it in my Top 10 Most Wanted Games of 2009, and that time is nearly upon us. But in the meantime I’ve been lucky enough to bag myself a code for the Uncharted 2 online multiplayer closed BETA.
There were only 14,000 codes given out to UK users to test their treasure hunter skills against each other until 12th October 2009 which is when the BETA shuts down.
When starting the game there was a small menu for me to either start playing online, watch the trailer or change the options. Upon looking further into the options, I found that I was able to link Uncharted 2 to my twitter account so that it updates your status. You can turn these on or off in the menu, but if you switch them all on, your status will update when you do the following:

June 27, 2009
Normally, films made from games are some of the worst ever made, which is why this news is a little bittersweet.
Uncharted is the hugely popular game on the Playstation 3 and was developed by Naughty Dog. The first game Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is one of the best games I’ve ever played, and with Uncharted: Among Thieves due for release towards the end of the year, things are looking up for Naughty Dog’s Nathan Drake.
Now with the announcement of the film, one can only wonder whether or not they’re going to screw this one up as well.

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Review (PS3 Platinum)
June 20, 2008
Well what can I say about Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune? Apart from WOW!! Naughty Dog have done it again. Let me give you a ‘walkthrough guide‘ of a review of this game – don’t worry there’s no spoilers!
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune came out last year on Playstation 3 and one of the games that I really wanted to get after playing the demo. The game is made by ‘Naughty Dog’, the geniuses who brought us the ‘Jak and Daxter’ franchise which are still some of the best games that I have ever played.
