Battlestar Galactica Season 4 Trailer
October 16, 2007
Battlestar Galactica is currently another of my favourite TV shows, it’s a re-make of the show of the same name from the 70’s, but the updated version brings with it gritty storytelling that really shines by tackling some very relevant and thought-provoking issues from our society - while being set in a futuristic armada of spaceships (lead and protected by the Battlestar Galactica) on the run from machines that have all but destroyed their civilization!
The next season will be BSG’s 4th and final season, so I’m expecting we should get plenty of action and revelations. Anyway, while waiting for it to start in January 2008, take a look at the Battlestar Galactica Season 4 trailer that has been released.

A while back I posted a Heroes parody video which really captured the mood of the show. Over at MeAndMyDrum I’ve seen that there is now a follow-up video to it which shows more people with pointless abilities!

Following up on my previous post that illustrated how good some people really are in using Photoshop (a lot better than I am that’s for sure!) by drawing a great picture of John Locke, here’s another Lost-inspired bit of Photoshop work that I found highlighted over at JohnTP.
Lost Season 3 Finale - ‘Through the Looking Glass’
May 27, 2007
The Lost finale of season 3 has now been shown and what an episode ‘Through the Looking Glass’ was!

After two very strong episodes preceding it, I was a little unsure what direction events could take - well the producers have certainly taken the show in a different direction and raised questions as to what the show will revolve around next year.To take a closer look at some of the episode, be sure to go to Lost Screencaps and Easter Eggs: Through the Looking Glass.
The best moments of this double episode has been highlighted here, I’m thinking most of them are pretty accurate, for me, number 1 is definitely right! - Top Ten Moments of the Lost Season 3 Finale.

May 20, 2007
Over the last few weeks there’s been quite a lot of talk on the Internet about Joost, so in case you haven’t heard about it and tried it yet, I thought I’d just cover the basics of it here.
As you can see from the advert below, Joost combines the best of TV and the Internet. It gives you the ability to watch high quality, full-screen TV shows through your internet connection - I was rather impressed with how good the quality of the picture is when played on my HDTV!
There are no TV schedules to live by, simply load up the Joost application and choose what you want to watch when it’s convenient to you!

Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse have done some great comedy shows in the past and have now re-united in a new comedy sketch show called ‘Ruddy Hell! It’s Harry and Paul‘, I watched a couple of episodes the other night and must say they are still both very funny and recommend you taking a look if you can.

I found this today, it caught my eye because it was Lost related, but would have been just as impressive had it been artwork done of any other person really.
Just take a look at this - I really wish I was able to do this kind of creative stuff by hand, let alone be able to do it all on a computer in Photoshop, I just sat and watched this in awe!

Do you want to see a Lost island map? If you’re one of the many of us who are still hooked by the Lost TV show that charts the adventure of the survivors of lost Oceanic Flight 815 - then a bunch of lost island maps relating to the island itself and the incidents which have occurred may be of interest to you!

Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) is one way of having TV on Internet. The TV programming is delivered over broadband to your computer or TV. This could normally be done using a separate box connected to your TV for instance, however later this year there will be another option - high definition TV on Internet is streamed through your cheap Xbox 360!
There’s a couple of very informative videos over at GameDrift and Gizmodo that help to demonstrate the power of this IPTV system.
