We recently saw that the Top Gear’s White Stig Revealed (or at least one of the people in the costume) to be Ben Collins, a Formula 3 driver who has also done some work on the show as himself in the past.
The question remains whether the White Stig will suffer the same fate as the original Top Gear Black Stig did – after his identity was revealed, he was killed off while attempting a stunt on the deck of the HMS Invicible and ended up sinking into the ocean.

Has Top Gear’s ‘The Stig’ been revealed? Well we posed the question of ‘Who is the Stig?‘ on the BBC’s Top Gear show nearly two years ago when we found a foreign TV show segment in which we heard the Stig speaking for the first time – well the first time the White Stig spoke at any rate!
The Telegraph has today reported that the White Stig is actually Ben Collins who has previously driven in Formula Three, Le Mans, GT and NASCAR and also appeared on Top Gear as himself! How it has been revealed reads like a rather strange thing to be doing if you have a secret identity, would you catch Clark Kent asking for a limited edition print of Superman in action?
Or if you have a whole display of the white suit, gloves and helmet in your house, wouldn’t you make that contractors coming into your house wouldn’t see it?

Who is “The Stig”? That is the question! Top Gear
First there was the original Stig who was suited up all in black, then he was killed off on the show (for talking about his secret identity in a book) by driving off an aircraft carrier.
His replacement was the White Stig who we don’t know much about, we’ve only ever heard from the celebrity guests as describing him as being a great guy!
However, in this interview for a Dutch TV show, for the first time ever, the Stig actually speaks giving away a bit of his actual personality – he seems pretty confident of himself!
