The Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon series is going to be starting on the Cartoon Network on Friday October 3rd 2008………in the US!
So us Brits might have to wait a little bit longer, but the way that TV shows are being aired over here soon after it’s been aired over in the US, it shouldn’t be too long before it starts over here - here’s hopefully it gets picked up by a channel with a high definition version to really appreciate the computer graphic visuals!
UPDATE: Sky have announced that they will start showing the Star Wars: Clone Wars series at 7pm 25th October 2008 on Sky Movies HD.
The Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon series will follow the events that have already occurred in the Star Wars: Clone Wars movie which was released in cinemas during the summer.

I always thought that The Clone Wars was going to be a bit too much for Star Wars. After the atrocities that were I, II and III, I thought Star Wars films would be no more and this was going to follow suit.
I was pleasantly surprised by The Clone Wars.

I’ve just watched the new trailer for the new upcoming animated film of Star Wars: Clone Wars which will then be continued in the form of a series on the TV channel Cartoon Network. I love the style of animation and am actually really looking forward to seeing this and think it could repair a bit of the nuclear damage that episode I, II and III have done to the Star Wars franchise.
