Futurama Returns in Futurama: Bender’s Big Score!

Futurama is returning in ‘Futurama: Bender’s Big Score‘ dvd! In a recent post I wrote about the Simpsons (specifically the Simpsons’ World of Warcraft episode) I mentioned that my preferred show from Matt Groening would have to be Futurama, if only because it appeals to the geek in me!
I mean with Futurama you have the great comedy style of the Simpsons, but with a lot of the humour centring around science fiction and dare I say, Futurama has a few more subtle, intellectual jokes contained within – perhaps in that sense it’s the Frasier to the Simpsons’ Cheers!

Wow! The Simpsons is a show that I used to watch a lot of, however I kind of stopped watching new episodes of The Simpsons a few years back since I preferred the humour and subject matter in Futurama (which is back) – even after they cancelled it! – grumble, grumble!
However, I’ve just seen this clip from a recent Simpsons episode where they have done a parody of the World of Warcraft game which is pretty good – so if you’ve ever played any role playing games before, this should amuse you!
