iPhone 3GS Review

Everyone’s seen an iPhone, and most people want one, but can you tell the difference between an iPhone 3G and an iPhone 3GS? The answer is most certainly no; they look identical to each other and are no different to the naked eye. Once you’ve used an iPhone 3GS, however, you’ll realise just how different it is.
It’s been around 6 months since the iPhone 3GS was released and at the time many people thought that it was somewhat of a low-key upgrade from the iPhone 3G, certainly it was more of an evolution than a revolution, especially when you consider what some of the 3rd generation iPhone rumours that had been going around prior to Apple’s announcement in which they introduced us to the iPhone 3GS.
So what can be added to our previous review of the iPhone 3G? Well here’s the key improvements that we’ve come to appreciate in using the iPhone 3GS, especially if you now go back to using an iPhone 3G – these differences are then immediately obvious!

Microsoft announced at CES this year, that Project Natal has a release date of ‘Holiday 2010’. There’s been no official release date, but at least we know that it’ll be high on some Xbox 360 gamers Christmas list in 2010.
Along with the announcement of the Project Natal release date, it’s also been confirmed that Microsoft are to drop a hardware chip from Natal’s motion control system to save themselves some money. The hardware chip was going to be the processing power for Natal, but this has now been dropped and a software solution has been set in place.

Chances are that you are reading this on a Window’s machine, or that failing that either on a Mac or some species of Linux – it’s pretty much a three horse race, and a biased one at that. So obviously when Google decided to enter the operating system market with Google Chrome OS there’s always going to be some excitement especially when they promise to ‘revolutionise’ the way we use our computers.
Aiming to be more in sync with the way we use computers today (i.e. on the web) it focuses more on speed, security and simplicity which Google are hoping will help it to break into the O/S market – but what makes Google Chrome OS special, and will you be throwing your Windows away when it’s released? I recently wrote about poor, sluggish performance from Firefox (which is a great program by the way, especially given it’s free) that was causing me problems with my computer as a whole. If you haven’t already got it, then I suggest you download and try it today!
That may sound odd, but like I said, it is one of the best examples of freeware programs available today, however it can become rather cumbersome (in a sense mainly as a result of how good it is, due to it’s flexibility) and slow in operation if you don’t keep things in check.
