Dabs.com Live IT & Gadget Show 2010 – Register Now For Free!

Here at Zath, we’re big fans of hi-tech gadgets, computing, gaming and technology in general, so when the chance to go along to a live show and take a look at some great bits of technology kit comes along, then we want to be there – as seen by our attendance at the Gadget Show Live 2009 event last April and the Eurogamer Expo 2009 in October.

Well we’ve just been informed by our friends over at Dabs.com that they’re running two free Technology and Gadgets Show events in March 2010 that the public can attend free of charge! At the Dabs.com Live show events which you’ll be able to see some of the hottest new technology of 2010 being showcased here in the UK…oh yeah, the show will also be being hosted by the Gadget Show’s very own Suzi Perry!

Gadget Show Live 2009 Review / Roundup

gadget-show-live-april-2009First of all, I have to say that I think it’s great that Channel 5 TV programme, The Gadget Show has such a following and large number of viewers that a Gadget Show Live event like this was firstly planned and then very quickly sold out by the fans of the show – I think that says a lot about a large of people in the UK being quite tech-savvy and enjoying all types of gadgets that are out there.

This was first event that I’d attended of it’s type on behalf of Zath and was quite excited to see what was on show to the visitors of this event after seeing so many great shows on TV that take place in America, Japan etc.

Acer Enters Smartphone Market

acer-smartphone-taglineThe Smartphone market is big, and as those of you who have read our reviews on the top smartphone offerings will know it is very competitive with pretty much all of the big mobile names laying claim to their own. But it is not often that a company that has not previously ventured into the phone market goes straight to the top but that is exactly what Acer are going to do.

On the back of their netbook success (particularly with the Acer Aspire One) they are moving into the slightly smaller mobile computing market and anticipation is high as this promises to be exiting. We can only assume that it will aim to compete with the top guns (such as the iPhone or HTC Touch HD) but whether it will have a touch screen, a QWERTY keyboard or a stylish design we just don’t know.
