Uncharted 3 In Development? (PS3 Rumour)

It’s officially…unofficial. Uncharted 3 is going to be hitting the PS3 perhaps sooner than we thought.
Nolan North who is the voice and the mo-cap actor for Nathan Drake, the star of Uncharted in case you were wondering, has said that he’s back this year working on Uncharted 3. Following on from the impressive Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and the amazing Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, why wouldn’t Naughty Dog bring us another Uncharted? It’s immensely entertaining, immensely popular, so it’d be stupid not to make another.

This is only talk at the minute, but I couldn’t contain my excitement at the prospect of this! So I’m spreading the wealth with my fellow Jak and Daxter fans.
As most of you know GamesCom is currently on in Germany with a lot of announcements, like the new Sony PS3 Slim. But nothing is more exciting than the fact that Arne Meyer (the community manager at Naughty Dog) said they are keen to do a PS3 instalment of Jak and Daxter!! He was quoted as saying:

The summer, traditionally a quiet time for games, so here at Zath, we’ve been looking forward to lots of upcoming games that are in store for us in the coming months, here’s a the list of the 10 games that I’m personally looking forward to playing the most of all in the next few months.
There aren’t any Wii exclusives on my list as there really isn’t anything for me to get really excited over at the minute. There are good games coming out like Red Steel 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wii, but they just don’t excite me as much as the list I’ve produced below.

I’m really excited!! Really really excited!! I can’t wait to see Jak and Daxter on PS3……huh? What’s that?…Oh!!
It turns out this is only going to be released on the PSP and PS2. Think I might start crying now.
When I did my post on this a few weeks back, I was very hopeful that this would be Jak and Daxter moving into the new world on a next gen console. But I feel like this is such a huge let down for the franchise.

Whilst browsing the web at work today (because I’m just that busy), I came across the recent list of when and what PS3 games are being released in 2009.
As you may have gathered, after scrolling about three quarters down the page, I saw the title ‘Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier’ and I made the whole office jump when I screamed “YEAH BABY!!” at the top of my voice. It was however, on the US list, but NOT the UK list. No surprise there then. But I can’t seeing it being that far behind the US release.
