Car Insurance for Women

I recently wrote about getting cheap car insurance online having bought my last 3 car insurance policies online. I have to say that I’m pretty happy with buying my policy online, but what about car insurance for a woman?
In recent years there seems to have been quite a few specific companies targeting the ‘car insurance for women’ sector of the market, these are usually very apparent given their style of marketing campaign, for example Diamond or Sheila’s Wheels.
I’ve often wondered if these style of adverts and approach to car insurance actually persuade you to buy from them as they are very different from the norm in some cases - some would put me off completely, but then I’m a guy. Are you a woman who has bought her car insurance from one of these companies, do you prefer to organise your car insurance online? Do you respond well the the style of advertising and approach these companies take?

Have you ever taken part in a balloon race? Normally it involves releasing a balloon to travel the country and seeing where it manages to end up, however in the case of Orange they are running a competition for the next week to celebrate the fact that they are releasing their animal tariffs onto PAYG mobile phones.
Zath! is just one of the sites across the Internet that are taking part as a host for the balloon race as shown by this balloon on selected mobile phone related pages such as the Free Orange Sim Card page. Your Orange balloon will travel across as you take part in this unique competition where you race your chosen animal balloon around the Internet completing 1 Internet mile per website. Swiftcover Review

Would a Swiftcover review be of use? I’ve been meaning cover the issue of cheap car insurance online for a while now as I’ve spoken to people who dismiss the notion of using the Internet for obtaining car insurance quotes and entirely renewing their car insurance policy online.
I’ve been using online car insurance companies for the past 3.5 years to set up my annual car insurance renewal with Lloyds TSB, Elephant and now Swiftcover.
I’ve found that it’s rather easy to set up a quote with Swiftcover that includes exactly the specifications that you require, this means that you can modify the policy to remove certain parts of cover such as increasing the minimum excess to reduce your insurance quote as I did.

Justgiving.com allows you to make charity donations online, a friend of mine has brought to my attention having recently set up an online donation webpage for an upcoming charity event.
Raising money for charity is a great thing to do, however one of the worst aspects for most people will probably be the actual admin involved is actually going around recording all their sponsors’ donations and then after the event then having to chase everyone up again to collect the money - what you need is a way of making charity donations online.

As you’re visiting websites these days, your probably coming across this symbol (or a variation of it) more and more, it indicates that there is a RSS Feed available for the site, but what is RSS Feed?
I’m sure there’s a lot of people out there who know exactly what an RSS feed is, but I keep getting blank looks when I mention it to people, so I thought I’d write a quick post highlighting what it can do.
