Lego Indiana Jones Demo
May 17, 2008
Not so long ago I wrote about the Lego Indiana Jones preview video which is a game similar in style to the Lego Star Wars games, but this time round it is based around the original three Indiana Jones movies. Well while checking my email today, I found that the Lego Indiana Jones demo has been released for the PC and is available from the ‘Games for Windows‘ website.
Simpsons Game Review
November 3, 2007
‘The Simpsons Game‘ is the latest Simpsons game! It perhaps isn’t the most originally titled game, but I suppose it doesn’t really matter, perhaps it’s implying it’s the definitive Simpsons game? It also isn’t based on the recent Simpsons Movie and instead is a more general free roaming game set in Springfield across different levels and themes which will be very familiar to fans of the Simpsons TV show.
I downloaded the demo of ‘The Simpsons Game’ off Xbox Live last week and was pleasantly surprised as to how good it looked - the style of the cell-shaded 3D graphics are that of the TV show and work very well, but more importantly it was fun to play!

I recently wrote about a PC game bargain, the new Football Manager 2008 game for £17.99, which is the latest evolution of a great game over a decade in the making and refining of - I didn’t get to play the 2007 version much at all (despite it being sat on my game-shelf all year), but am planning on having a return to form with this, the 2008 incarnation.
If you haven’t already got your Football Manager 2008 pre-orders placed, now you can play the demo that has been released today to help you make up your mind - as if any true football fan needed to even play a demo of these games before committing to a game purchase!

September 19, 2007
The demo of the new Sega Rally game has been released on Xbox Live Marketplace in the form of a 691MB download. The demo includes the following features to choose from:
- 2 Tracks - one Tropical and one Canyon
- 2 Cars - Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
I’ve already downloaded it and had another go on it - you might remember I attended a Sega Preview Session of Sega Rally last month. It compares very well to the game I played and the main noticeable difference from the test version I played would be the AI level of the other cars - we couldn’t get anywhere near the top two cars in our preview session! Whereas I won on both courses on my second attempt (on my first attempts I was obviously getting used to driving with my controller
), presumably there will be a variety of difficulty options available in the full game.
