July 12, 2009
We’ve been big fans of the Street Fighter games ever since we played them as kids in the arcades and at home on the SNES – now not only have we been treated to a complete modern-day update for our current generation consoles in the form of Street Fighter 4, but now we get to enjoy some classic Street Fighter 2 action in our browsers!

What is Desktop Blaster? Well I think most of us by now have played the classic 80s arcade game, Asteroids either the original incarnation back in the day so to speak or more recently in one of the many arcade retro-style flash games that can be found on the Internet – this is the basic premise of Desktop Blaster, however with a slight twist!

You can now play the FEAR 2 demo ahead of full game being released over here in good ol’ blighty on Friday 13th February…..

Fear 2 is obviously the sequel to 2005’s FEAR. The events of the FEAR 2 take place shortly after the end of the first. You’ll be thrown into a sinister and paranormal world as a special forces member. Whilst on a routine mission the city of Auburn, where you just so happen to be, sees itself in the middle of a supernatural explosion. You find out that a girl named ‘Alma’ has unleashed hell upon the city and it’s up to you to unravel to mysterious……mysteries in Auburn and put an end to Alma’s evil.

I’m a big fan of the brilliant Entourage TV show, if you are too then you’ll no doubt need no introduction to the little-known that got cancelled called Viking Quest which starred Johnny ‘Drama’ Chase himself – however, if you don’t know Entourage, then I doubt you’ll have heard of Viking Quest – lets just say that it didn’t do that well when it was first made (up).
