There was a lot of controversy surrounding Tropic Thunder whilst being made. Robert Downey Jr. getting his skin pigmentation changed from white to black and the whole ‘retard’ scenes. Some people were asking for certain scenes to be cut, or the film being completely cut from the movie calendar.

It’s been a while since I’ve bought DVDs at launch, mainly because if you’re like me and don’t mind waiting a couple of months, they usually end up on sale for around £10 or less anyway.
However, in this case, it’s nice to see a for a chance two of the summer’s big blockbuster movies; ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End’ and ‘Spiderman 3′ on DVD priced at just £9.98 each for these 2-disc editions = cheap bargains!

If you’re anything like me and you appreciate a good movie, then you’ll no doubt like to see the downloadable movie trailers for new upcoming films by downloading them onto your computer and viewing them on your high quality monitor screen for free! One of the benefits of the Internet is that you don’t have to wait till you’re next at the cinema to see them. You can view them on the individual movie websites, however this obviously means checking lots of different sites for updates.
I’ve been a regular visitor to Dave’s Trailer Page for a few years now, it’s basically a site that brings together links for all the available downloadable movie trailers, but also includes an archive to links for ones that have already come and gone.
