‘The Hangover’ DVD Review
December 7, 2009
I never managed to get myself to the cinema to see The Hangover (15), but I’ve finally been able to watch it and it’s a brilliant albeit weird comedy. Whilst watching it, it reminded me a little of ‘Dude Where’s My Car’ in the sense that these guys wake up and can’t remember for the life of them what happened the night before or where their friend Doug is.
The story is about 4 friends going to Vegas on a stag do only for it to end up being a complete nightmare. The groom is a normal guy whose out for a laugh, another is the wild one of the bunch and the third is a normal guy who has to lie to his bossy girlfriend about where he’s going because he’s scared of what she’ll do to him.

The acting in this film is beyond appalling and I couldn’t have cared less if the characters died or not. From annoying, whiny voices that only a five year old kid would make, to constant screaming that is completely unnecessary and hair pulling annoying.

The Ricky Gervais Podcasts are very funny! Just like nearly everything he does, not much else to say…but I’ll try!
Ricky Gervais (who started off on the XFM radio station) is one of those comedians that you either love or hate from my experience of talking to various people – personally I think he’s great and have enjoyed watching him ever since he first started appearing on TV.
