Tao Digital Photo Keyring
December 3, 2009
The Tao Digital Photo Keyring really does exactly what it seems. You may have seen or own a digital photo frame which can display a slideshow of all your favourite moments. These are definitely a significant improvement over a single still photo if you’re one for a gadget. So why not carry a miniature on your keychain.
Unlike the larger digital frames though, it does not cost the earth. At £13 it is perhaps a bit more expensive than a regular key fob, but this comes with 8MB of memory to store images and can display all of your photo’s in a constantly crisp display, rather than one old and faded one.

Earlier in the year we reviewed the CIBOX C107 digital photo frame here on Zath and thought it was a pretty good little device, however since I’m not a big photographer and normally just view photos on my computer, it’s been sat in its box since then.
Sooooo, rather than let this digital photo frame go to waste, I thought one of the Zath readers would be able to put this to better use than I have!

From when you first open the box, it doesn’t take long to get going with the CIBOX C107 digital photo frame, I’d say that’s a real benefit as it’s never good having to read a huge tome of a manual before being able to use the new toy you’ve just got. All you need to do is insert a memory card (that contains your photos) and then select the photo slideshow button on the remote control.

Why try and reinvent the wheel, when you could whack a magnet on the back of it and slap it on your fridge. Digital photo frames are not exactly new tech but the simple idea of whacking it on your fridge is. This Fridge Magnet Digital Photo Frame is a brilliant piece of thinking and would make an ideal prezzie for any photo (or fridge) fanatic.
It is essentially an 8.3 x 5.5 x 1.2cm digital magnetic frame with 32mb of internal memory. This allows you to store up to 66 photos that are displayed on the 5×4cm LCD screen. As the screen is reasonably small the photos are clear, despite the resolution only being 320×240.
