Do you want a free credit report and credit score? Or do you actually *need* one! Given the current economic climate and the “credit crunch” *, it’s perhaps more important than ever to be able to get an idea of what the credit agencies have on your credit history record. This is what most companies will use when assessing any applications you make for credit for a variety of products and services from car loans to mobile phone contracts.
* “Credit crunch” – I was in two minds to even use that phrase, for some reason I just don’t like this term, it just sounds like too much of a sound bite phrase created by a TV news show – to me it sounds more like a name for a bowl of cereal!
