Prezzybox Voucher Code (£5 off £20+ Spend)

December 18, 2009

prezzybox-logoPrezzybox is another online gift and gadget retailer which in a similar vain to Firebox and I Want One of Those provides you with lots of cool gadgets, gift ideas and novelty presents at competitive prices, but how about we throw in extra savings with a discount voucher code?

One of the things that I particular like about the Prezzybox website in comparison some retailers is that they are really making it easy to find some great gifts by having different gift guides for different people and prices.

Memory Bits Renamed Zoombits & Offers Voucher Code (20% off)

December 10, 2009

zoombits-memory-bits-logoYou may be a little unfamiliar with who or what Zoombits are and whether you actually need a voucher code for their online store, but they are no newcomer to online technology retailers, they’re actually a name you might be much more familiar with, as Zoombits is actually the new name for Memory Bits!

Clearly with a name like Memory Bits, they started out supplying memory cards and the like for you hi-tech gadgets, however as well as continuing to do that, they’ve now branched out into technology accessories, gadgets and gifts – so no doubt the name Zoombits allows them to be less limited as a brand – always quite interesting to see when and how companies decide to make these changes, especially in the run up to Christmas when people shop based on their knowledge of existing brands and perhaps like in this case, by offering a rather generous discount voucher code!

Sega Indoor Fireworks Display Projector

December 3, 2009

sega-indoor-fireworks-projectorNow what’s this? The Sega Indoor Fireworks Projector? Well you may have seen my article earlier on about the indoor Star Theatre Planetarium. Well if you did, and you like the idea, then perhaps this could be for you too. It works on a very similar principal of light shining through a set of discs, except this time instead of displaying the night sky, it projects animated fireworks into your living room.

So this Christmas and New Year especially, there’s no more standing in a muddy field, freezing cold and wet through watching fireworks, as you can get one of these nifty little gadgets and sit in front of the warm fire watching a display which is just as interesting.

Remote Control Hoverpod (Hover Car)

November 24, 2009

remote-control-hoverpod-blueRemote control cars and some driving surfaces don’t go well together as you probably know if you’re ever attempting to take one for a spin on a slippy surface or certain carpets. However, the Hoverpod from WowWee is the one of a kind remote control hover car which glides across almost any surface.

Made from a special durable foam which can take some bruising. The controls aren’t too simple but the radio frequencies of these vehicles allow the of controlling two Hoverpod’s simultaneously thanks to some ‘smart dual channel technology’.

Global Secret Santa Idea & World Record Attempt From Firebox

November 23, 2009

global-secret-santa-fireboxWhat’s this? A Secret Santa idea which takes the whole concept to a totally different level thanks to Firebox, we’re talking about a Global Secret Santa event here!

With the Christmas season fast approaching, you’ll no doubt be talking about Christmas parties and other festivities at work and one of these activities is running a Secret Santa present giving system (assuming some organised person can sort it out). Obviously the real advantage of being part of a Secret Santa is that rather than everyone having to buy each other presents, each person gets the name of one person to buy a present for. I for one always prefer this as I tend to find it difficult to think of present ideas for people as it is, so this definitely reduces the stress on my part.

Moonpig.com Review (Personalised Greetings Cards)

November 4, 2009

moonpig-logo-personalised-greeting-cardsPerhaps the best, quickest and easiest way of buying personalised greetings cards! Moonpig.com allows you to choose from thousands of card designs and alter them to add the personal touch. You can upload photos and fit them into the design or add your own personal message, for example you can have your message hanging on a colourful banner from Big Ben or your photo hanging, gold framed in an art gallery.

The home page is split up into 3 sections. The left hand side is purely for navigation. There is a list of all the different categories of cards from anniversaries right down to weddings. Those with sub–categories are indicated with a small arrow. Overall it is very simple to find your way, as well as being neat and tidy.

A Zath Christmas!

December 7, 2008

Well I think it’s fair to say that the festive season has well and truly arrived here at Zath HQ – hopefully you’ll have noticed that we’ve got our LED Christmas tree and decorations put up in our logo at the top of the page.

Watch out in the coming weeks for special Christmas Zath competition coming your way – more news on that as soon as I get things finalised!

What added to the Christmas atmosphere even more was that last Thursday was the first time in years that they’d been enough snow to prevent us getting to work to our day-jobs – so I used the ’snow day’ to get a few things done round the house and also got some work here on the website.
