call of duty modern warfare
3rd Space FPS Gaming Vest
December 6, 2009
The modern age of first person shooter’s have been crying out for the 3rd Space FPS Gaming Vest ever since it began. All gamers who have enjoyed the likes of Call of Duty or Medal of Honor have always dreamed of a device which allows them to almost get into the game, to be more immersed in it, well how about feeling the bullets without the excruciating pain of real life?
The vest features 8 pads which deliver 10lbs of force into your body when you are punched, kicked or shot in-game, giving you some real feedback and improving the gaming experience to leave you with an ultimately realistic immersion of war, minus only the fear of real injury or death.

I was desperate to buy Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2, but I thought I was going to have to wait until Christmas to be able to afford it. But thankfully, the supermarkets decided to slash the price and I bagged myself a copy for £26 and it was worth every penny.
The game follows on from the first Modern Warfare and once again, terrorists are causing problems and need a slap on the wrist and a good telling off. Last time we played as Soap McTavish, but this time around, you’re a different character and Soap leads you through the missions along with the every present Captain Price.
I was a little disappointed with the length of the main storyline as I would love it if it was a real epic 15 hours long. This is my favourite storyline of the franchise so far and certain parts have had people making major complaints about, ie the airport terminal which is why Russia banned Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

November 17, 2009
Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 – arguably the biggest game to be released this year was finally unveiled to the public and ignoring the complaints regarding the multiplayer set-up it has received almost universal critical acclaim, except for one level: “No Russian”.
The level (which I will run through in a minute for those who haven’t played it/heard about it) has already raised significant amounts of controversy – to the point where it has come up in parliament – but nowhere as much as Russia who have decided to ban the game and are currently recalling all the copies with the mission on from stores across the country.

September 16, 2009
I was expecting this news, but maybe not so soon.
Sony’s PS3 Slim is only just over 2 weeks old (as of 1st September) and there are already rumours that Sony are going to be releasing a new 250GB model of the PS3 Slim by October.
Microsoft have followed suit by announcing that they will be releasing a 250GB version of the Elite console bundled with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The 360 will be themed like the Resident Evil 5 red Xbox 360 that was previously released. It will also come with 2 wireless controllers, a headset (the most annoying peripheral on the planet) and the standard version of Modern Warfare 2.

The ‘Call of Duty: World at War’ Map Pack 2 has only just been released and now Treyarch have announced they are throwing another map pack out next month! As good as the maps are, I do think that they’re doing this to bleed money out of the fans!!
If this is going to be ready for August, why not release it in Map Pack 2?

The time has come!…For a new pack of COD: World at War maps!
The second map pack for the popular Call of Duty: World at War is available from 11th June 2009 and will be around the same price as the first map pack.
The first map pack was pretty good, with the second Nazi Zombies pack being my personal favourite, but hopefully the multiplayer maps will be better than the COD: WaW first map pack. They were ok, but there was only one that I really liked which was ‘Knee Deep’.

May 25, 2009
I’ve just watched the new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which is due out this November and it just keeps looking better. This one is just amazing and definitely improves on the previous COD 6 trailer.
From the looks of things, Call of Duty games are becoming much more storyline based than it’s predecessors. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare had quite a decent storyline to it, but Modern Warfare 2 looks likely to pistol whip the first into submission.

A new Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 trailer has gone live over the Internet after the previous Call of Duty 6 teaser trailer.
This trailer was shown in the US during a basketball game, and it’s now available for everyone to see, and it looks awesome!
The scenes in the trailer are set in a few places such as what looks like a Russian base in the snow, scuba diving underwater and a snowmobile chase which looks reminiscent of Call of Duty games gone by, which had you shooting out of a moving vehicle on roads. Of course, the gunship mission is thrown in there for good measure, just like the mission in the first Modern Warfare.

May 8, 2009
There always seems to be some news on a Call of Duty game these days, what with two companies, Activision and Treyarch, developing the games so they can release one each year. With Activision currently working on Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 (release date – Nov 2009), there’s no doubt Treyarch will be back with Call of Duty 7 in 2010.
The latest on the grapevine is about where the next Call of Duty game (after Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2) is going to be set in terms of combat arena.
Going by recent reports, Call of Duty has finished with World War II, with Treyarch “glad to end World War II in World at War.”

It’s just been announced that there will be another map pack released for Call of Duty: World at War in June, with another 3 additional maps and another Nazi Zombie map – this should make for a great follow-up to the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1.
There’s even going to be extra trophies/achievements available for the PS3/360 with the new map pack.
No news yet as to how much Map Pack 2 is going to be, but I’m assuming it will be the same price as the first one was when that was released a couple of months back.
