Dell Studio Launch Coverage
July 15, 2008
Following up on my coverage of the recent Dell Studio laptop launch that I attended at the recent Dell Silverstone Formula 1 testing day, I thought I’d just do a quick post rounding up some of the coverage from that day.
My friend Gaj over at Gaj-It.com has done a bit of video editing of some of the various videos that he took on day and created a cool montage video that pretty much covers the events and atmosphere of the day, check it out below:

July 12, 2008
A few weeks ago I was invited by Dell to attend a Silverstone Formula 1 testing day (26th June 2008) which was actually the final testing session before the British Grand Prix took place there just over a week later. The purpose of the day was for launching the new Dell Studio laptops, this would be the second Dell event that I’d been asked to take part in, it was therefore a great opportunity and I gladly accepted.
Only then did I then find out that we’d be getting flown into Silverstone by helicopter - a place, where on the day of the British Grand Prix is the busiest “Heli-port” in the world!
I had to meet up at an Elstree Aerodrome in North London for 8.30am – it meant I had to get up at around 3am – which is probably the earliest I’ve ever had to, so that was bit of a shock to the system! I was out the house and on the road by around 4am – but it would ultimately be a very worthwhile journey!

June 26, 2008
What can be said for the Math of Zath! in May? Well it thankfully a fairly consistent month of traffic compared to previous months which had been up and down like a yoyo! I suppose this also means that the top popular are a more accurate measure of what Zath! was ranking well on all month long.
Anyway, if you’ve missed out on seeing these posts at the time, now’s the time to see what everyone else has been taking a look at, followed by some other of my personal favourites from May.

Do you like hi-tech gadgets? Of course you do, who doesn’t like a good hi-tech gadget? I mean they’re like toys for adults to play with!
I recently met several fellow technology / gadget bloggers at LG’s ‘Secret’ Bloggers’ Event to promote the release of their new ‘Secret’ mobile phone. The event was enjoyable in terms of hearing about and getting to play with LG’s latest mobile phone, we also had the opportunity to talk to the LG people to discuss their products, future directions they may take and the industry in general.

I’ve thought up a new regular post for the Zath! site, much like I post with the ‘Path of Zath!‘ (somewhat irregularly, but I’ve got some new ones on their way) - this time round I thought I could call it the ‘Math of Zath!’ - it is basically a post I’ll make once a month that showcases some of the most popular and best posts in the previous month.
Also, being the analytical person that I am, I’ll probably throw in some statistics in along the way - don’t there won’t be too much, I don’t want to bore people to death with numbers!

April 28, 2008
A couple of weeks ago LG invited me to participate in some of the launch events they had planned for their latest mobile phone handset; the ‘LG Secret’.
On Thursday 24th April (unfortunately I couldn’t attend this event), LG held a press conference to announce the name and other details of the latest in their range of ‘Black Label’ series of mobile phone handsets - until this event, no-one had been told what this new mobile would even be called.
