Super Mario Buzzes To Another Galaxy In 2010
Nintendo have just announced their plans to make a sequel of what is probably one of their best games yet with Super Mario Galaxy 2. With their fairly paltry line-up at the E3 Expo of games being released today, I guess we can only really get excited about this one. It’s definitely been great whizzing around the galaxy and playing about on planets, but where can they possibly take the new version without drawing too much on the old one?
Apparently, there are new planets, new abilities, the same cute buzzing bumble bee and now the ability to ride your trusty ‘steed’, Yoshi – which all come together to make the new version an utterly encompassing bundle of fun.
They’ve broken all their previous rules by releasing a second generation Mario game for the same console, but if you liked the first one, I’m fairly sure you’ll like this one too. I’ll be happy to play it – even if it does mean Nintendo getting a little lazy with their games releases.
Shigeru Miyamoto might be an old codger, but he sure knows what he’s doing when it comes to games and perhaps rightly it was voted as Best Game in the BAFTA Video Games Awards 2009, so perhaps it can help to stop the Wii drying up? Check out the Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer below, it’s good fun! Let us know what you think!
