Star Wars USB Memory Sticks

Have you seen these Star Wars Character USB memory sticks before? When I first saw these ‘Star Wars Mimobots’ I thought they were just a little novelty item that somebody had faked in photoshop or something, but you can actually buy these!

I’ve written about USB memory sticks such as the Corsair Voyager and other more random USB devices such a USB humping dog! But these certainly are worth taking a look at if you’re a Star Wars fan in the market for a new USB storage device.

From looking at the specifications, these 1GB or 2GB capacities may seem a little small compared to today’s standards and you can tell that these aren’t going to be the most high performance of USB memory sticks in terms of read/write speeds or using them with Vista for ReadyBoost purposes. However, as a means of basic transporting of files, they should certainly do that in style!

I’m not sure of the overall build quality of these products as I’ve not yet got one myself - I’ve got USB devices all over my desk as it is - am having a hard time justifying getting another one, however at these prices I’m rather tempted to go for one all the same - I think it would have to be R2 for me!
