Sony PSP Mini Games To Be Playable On Playstation 3

Sony has announced that the Sony PSP Mini games will be making their way over to the PS3 before Christmas. A new firmware update will be released on 17th December which will have a Minis emulator which will allow people to download the games directly onto their PS3 and still be able to transfer them over to your PSP if you so wish.

For those that aren’t aware of what the PSP Minis are, they were released along with the PSPgo to rival the massive success of the games on the iPhone. But do be aware that it will be the ‘majority’ of the PSP Minis that you’ll be able to play on your PS3, so everything you download from the 17th December onwards will be fine.

If you’ve already bought some Minis and want to play them on your PS3 then you can download them again for free via the Playstation Network.

Do you think this is a sign of the PSP Mini’s struggling so Sony are making them more widely available or just allowing everyone to try out these mini games? Either way, with file sizes of 100MB or less, it will take you no time at all.
