Samsung Galaxy Tab UK Release Date Is 1st November, But At What Price?

Written by on October 1, 2010 · Filed under Tech

Samsung-Galaxy-TabThe long-awaited Samsung Galaxy Tab, along with the latest addition to the line up of tablets, the BlackBerry Playbook, remains one of the only credible competitors for the behemoth that is the Apple iPad.

Anyway, despite what you think of Android on tablets, and no matter your view on the ideal screen size for a tablet, we can now confirm that the Samsung Galaxy UK release date will be on 1st November, so just in time for the seasonal rush here in the UK and will be available on all major carriers.

However, in case you are wondering on the pricing of data contracts, you will have to wait just a little longer as Samsung remains tight-lipped on the Galaxy Tab cost front. The only bit of info we have for you there is an annoyingly vague quote from the company, stating the Galaxy Tab “will be available on a range of attractive price packages.”

Do you think the Samsung Galaxy Tab can rival the iPad come Christmas time? What price would this Android tablet need to be for you to buy one? Let us know in the comments section below!

It should be priced lower than the iPad or it just wouldn’t make any sense to buy this.
