Hi… If this takes 2.5″ SATA drives, is that SATA1 or 2? And will it take SSD drives?

How did you get on with the upgrade, see any performance changes ?

You mention about the usefulness with new future video services, for this do you think internal or external hard drives would be most useful for ps3 users ?

Article is not out of date. Very useful. Repalaced HD drive with no problem at all on Sunday. All you need is half a brain, patience and a good screwdriver…

This is all out of date. The new UK 80gb and 160gb hdd trays look nothing like this.I tried upgrading my HDD tonight only to find that the new models (of which the old 60gb is shown in all the tutorials) look nothing like this and the screws are extremely hard to unscrew. It’s as if Sony would like you to spend money on buying a new ps3 with new generation of bigger HDD’s.
