Graphics will be the same as they have always been so no worries of them dumbing down for this.
£50 sounds like a great price. Where did you find this out? I'm amazed they're being so fare about it.
As far as backward compatibility for games goes...
If they write a simple program to overlay old game, that converts hand gestures into the respective buttons and sticks on the controller, it may work. But I think you're missing the point of this things potential.
It's not designed for intricate movement like that, it recognises limb movement, faces, but not so much delicate things.
That's not a negative factor though. The very ideas they show on that demo film are Project Natals strengths.
Natal will change the way developers make thier games, things won't be simplified, they'll just work differently. Controlling old games made for standard controllers would take, in a great many cases, some pretty extensive reprogramming and rethinking of the games controls.

I hope Microsoft doesn't resort to rubbish graphics just to meet the release date! The Wii was a very good idea but the graphics are rubbish comparable to finger paintings, that being the only reason i didn't buy one!

If it works and it does coz they have the milo and kate program successfully running Microsoft has to make haste and release it ASAP to dominate the gaming industry otherwise Sony & Nintendo will comeup with something similar.

I completly agree with Adam Diskels

I wouldn't mind paying even 3 times the expected 50 quid price if I am to be reassured that it won't break down out of the blue!!

anyways...love the idea and hope to get one the soonest possible, even though, I can't really imagine it work with games such as COD MW2 or other shoot em ups.
