PoGo Instant Photo Printer – In Your Pocket!

The PoGo Instant Photo Printer from Polaroid is full of new technology such as Bluetooth and inkless printing – this is how they’ve followed up on their previous PoGo Digital Camera effort. The built in Bluetooth allows you to wirelessly print photos from your mobile phone. So if you’re out and about taking snaps you can print them off and keep them looking shiny in your little photo album.

This portable printer connects to your camera via a USB cable which unfortunately is not included in the box, but once sorted with that, it’s extremely simple to connect your digital camera or mobile phone and start printing your pictures.

The printer is capable of printing photos of 2” x 3” in size which is probably all you can expect from a pocket-sized printer. The printer uses ‘magic’ Zink paper which means no more silly flapping of your photos to dry them as it doesn’t use ink cartridges.

Powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery which is represented by a small LED light on the side. Part of a neat gadget which is practical and easy to carry in your bag or pocket.

The printer can carry up to 10 sheets of paper at a time which is more than enough to print out the best photos from one night out. Unfortunately, the printer is incompatible with the iPhone as well as the LG Viewty and the Zink paper does have an expiration date, but Polaroid claim that it still works at almost full quality up to 24 months after expiry.

Overall the Polaroid PoGo Instant Photo Printer is an extremely neat little gadget that could be extremely useful if pocket size photography and printing is your scene. It’s available this Christmas at a reduced price of £39.95 with a choice of either black or pink models.
