Personal Display Glasses

personal-display-glassesDo you need a pair of these Vuzix iWear personal display glasses? Well we all know how annoying it can be to share a TV at Christmas when there are so many films on and everyone wants to watch a different film, or something really boring.

Now you can sit in the same room and watch any programme or film of your choice without bothering anybody!

These little personal display glasses can allow you see a screen that’s equivalent to a 44” up to a 62” monster that’s 9ft away from your eyes, depending on which version you want to buy.

The amazing thing about this is that, even if you want to watch Lord of the Rings, one AA battery will last you 7 hours, with a Lithium battery lasting up to 17 hours!!

The AV230XL screen uses something called OLED’s which are different to LCD’s as they don’t need a backlight to light up the screen which in turn provides a better picture. Each model has its different features though, so be sure to take a look at what’s on offer from each of them.

Fancy playing games? Then buy the VR920 with motion controls and look around in your games by turning your head!

The iWear also has adjustable headphones attached as well so you can plug in and be completely transported to your own hideaway! Or if you don’t want sound, then you can just unplug the headphones.

Order your pair of personal display glasses and lose yourself with the Vuzix iWear. Prices range from £129.95 to £249.95.

I remember investigating these about 7 or 8 years ago, and the general opinion was that they were great, but headache-inducing.
    Is that still the case?

i would say yes they would give some people headaches but if these are anything to go by then you should be able to change your prefered brightness. i think this technology can be taken alot futher because of the needlessness for blacklight intervention. maybe we can see some thing more concept coming out of this like navagational glasses for drivers,,, presentational glasses for people who cannot make business trips and want to be able to take confrences anywhere,,, imagine that instead of having to have your computer constantly with you. hmm… its design time i think.
