Nintendo Game and Watch Handheld Remakes
Nintendo ‘Game and Watch’ LCD electronic games were around long before Gameboys came along, these handhelds were the best us gamers had in terms of gaming on the move back in those days – I have memories of spending many break-times at school playing these ’state of the art’ games over and over.
It was rather simple gameplay which meant you were continually trying to better your high score – like many old school games, this usually resulted in the game speeding up considerably!
You can now replay all your favourite Nintendo ‘Game and Watch’ LCD handhelds over at Handheld Remakes.
Mario Bros
Mario Bros was a game where you had to make sure that boxes on factory conveyor belts weren’t dropped by Mario and Lugi. (click below to play)

Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong is a classic game playing as Mario to stop Donkey Kong throwing barrels down at him. (click below to play)

Donkey Kong 2
Donkey Kong 2 was one of my favourites which involved Diddy Kong needing to release Donkey Kong from his chains that Mario has imprisoned him in. (click below to play)

Clicked the link for Donkey Kong but got exceeded bandwidth message – am gutted – LOVE Donkey Kong. That, Missile Command and Asteroids were my era of gaming and didn’t make me get motion sickness like most computer games do now!!!

Oh nice, I love throwbacks to old school Nintendo games. I was a huge Nintendo fan as a kid, played all day and subscribed to Nintendo Power.
Seeing these games really brings back a rush of nostalgia. Stumbled and Digged!

These LCD games were great back in the day, I just wish I’d Iooked after mine and still had them somewhere now for some retro gaming fun.
Perhaps they’re even worth a fair bit now too?
