New Sony PSP 2 To Be Announced At E3? (Rumour)

Along with the announcement of Nintendo’s DSi successor, the ’3DS’, it’s not surprising for the rumour mill to start spitting out more information about the possibility of there being a Sony PSP 2 handheld gaming console.

I for one would guess that this is definitely going to be happening, especially after the flop that is the Sony PSP Go, and hopefully it will have something worth shouting about like some touch screen technology, or possibly even 3D gaming?

I still have my PSP from the day it came out and still have less than 10 games in my library which is poor to say it’s been out for six years. But in recent months, there has been some good titles and with new ones still to be released like the new God of War: Ghost of Sparta, maybe it’s a case of ‘better late than never’ with Sony’s handheld.

I really do hope that there will be a Sony PSP 2 announced at E3 with some worthy upgrades and not just things like it has no UMD slot, which I thought was a big mistake on the PSP Go.

So what do you reckon? Does the Sony PSP 2 really exist? Usually rumours just before E3 tend to be true so why make an exception now? Playstation Move has already been announced so surely Sony need something more of a surprise for us at E3? Let us know what you think below in the comments!
