New Bond - Quantum of Solace Trailer
Have you seen the new bond Quantum of Solace trailer?
Despite the rather strange sounding title (and that’s saying something for a Bond film), I have high hopes for the Quantum of Solace given that it looks as though it will be picking and continuing the events from Casino Royale.
At the time when Quentin Tarantino first mentioned that he’s like to do a re-boot of the Bond franchise going back to the start of 007 by making Casino Royale, I thought that when he was turned down for it, we’d end up getting another ridiculous gadget-fest of a Bond film as they had become in recent years, particularly the latter Brosnan films.
However, I was definitely pleased to see what direction the film-makers and Daniel Craig took with Casino Royale which ended up being a great re-boot to the series that focussed on Bond’s first mission – less reliance on gadgets and a more well-executed espionage story. I’m sure films such as the recent Bourne films had something to do with this new take on the franchise given the success and acclaim they got, hopefully Quantum of Solace will be just as good as Casino Royale!

The film is world class. so much so that i am going to go and see it again. I’ll also buy the dvd via the zath shopping link as well.
The only thing I was disappointed with was the ladies in the film they were not up to the very high standard that I am use to.

I quite liked old skool gadgetry Bond! Ohwell, time & a place for it I suppose!
I have to say that I’m pretty psyched about this film. They’ve done such a good job rebooting the franchise. And some of those camera angles are simply awesome, like the one that follows Bond and the other guy falling through the window. That’s pretty slick.
