Today is National Talk Like a Pirate Day!
With that mind Cravendale Milk have a site called Pirate Radio in honour of this great day – this is because their advertising has featured a jolly pirate for several years – just in case you couldn’t work out the connection there!
With this site you can play several pirate phrases out loud and even send your friends some custom pirate audio messages with the Pirate Phrase Generator – have a go at creating some of your own – there’s some rather amusing possibilities!
In addition to that, there’s also a free “Pocket Pirate” iPhone and iPod Touch app that you can then use to play piratey phrases all day long - no doubt your friends and work colleagues will really appreciate this and won’t get annoyed by these in the slightest! 
You can download and install the Pocket Pirate iPhone app from the Apps Store.

i think national pirate day is good bcuz we can have a day just to have fun talking like a pirate. its really exciting for younger kids that have a good imagination. i think we should have more days that are creative like possibly a national doctor day or a day like that where those who help us can be recognized and have a day thats all about them.
