Mini Ninjas Demo Preview (PS3)
This is probably one of my most anticipated games of the year. I added it into my Top 10 Most Wanted Games and ever since I saw the first trailer for Mini Ninjas, I wanted to know more and get my hands on it to have a go for myself.
That time has finally come.
The demo of Mini Ninjas is now available and I was not disappointed. One of the things I love about this game is the style and looks. The cartoony graphics really add to the overall feel of the game and everything flows smoothly, and it has a great soundtrack to make it feel even better and fits perfectly with the game.
The controls are incredibly easy to get used to and the fighting, although a tad repetitive is great fun. You mainly bash square and triangle to defeat your enemies, but you can use certain jutsu’s to add a bit of spice to your attacks.
In the demo you can use fireballs and, if you find it, a lightning jutsu. There’s also a jutsu that allows you to jump inside any of the animals, but in the demo, I was a bit disappointed that the guards can still tell it’s you. I was looking forward to sneaking into the middle of a group of my enemies as a fluffy white bunny without being recognised, and then unleashing hell when I jumped back out of the bunny. Maybe this will be the case in the full version of the game though, but until then, charging at the enemies in a hog or a panda will have to do!

You’re not just limited to one character through the demo either as you can use 3 separate ninjas. Swapping between the 3 is simple as all you need to do is tap L1 and move to the ninja you want and you instantly change to that ninja.
I was expecting a lot from this game and from the demo is has certainly delivered. This is definitely a game that I’ll be adding to my collection!
Mini Ninjas is available to buy from 9th September 2009 on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and PC.

I agree Kev, I don’t get chance to play that many games these days, but this looks like a fun “little” game to play
