@Cat – I’d definitely recommend you take a look at Stargate Atlantis – I feel it’s a great combination of present-day science fiction with lots of humour injected into proceedings.

Stargate is something I’ve been meaning to get into for years. I watched the original series up until season 4 until I missed out a season and nothing made sense any more. Atlantis I’ve heard is even better.
