Madden American Football Game For Facebook Confirmed
EA top dog Peter Moore has confirmed that they’re to expand the Madden american football gaming franchise onto the social networking site Facebook.
There’s been no official date as to when we’ll be seeing Madden’s american football game appear on Facebook, but expect it to be a “simpler experience” in comparison the console version of the game. EA recently bought the Facebook games company Playfish for $300 million dollars so I think we can assume that this won’t be the only EA title to appear on Facebook in the near future.
I think this is a great idea and will eat up a lot of my time at work instead of staring blanky at the tea stain on my desk for 6 hours a day. Hopefully there won’t be a charge for this and they’ll keep in free to everyone as Moore was quoted as saying “We have to make Madden more accessible”.
I think it will be free as EA also mentioned that they’re taking their FIFA football game online for free on PC so that all gamers no matter what they computer specs will be able to access the game and play with gamers from around the world….providing you all have an internet connection.
So what are your views on this? Great idea from EA? Would you pay to play it or do you think it’ll be free? Is this going to be another distraction to keep people on Facebook all day long? Perhaps it’s games like these that will work well on an Apple iPad?
