Lost Season 6 Preview – Get Lost For 5 Years In 8 Minutes! (Video)

Written by on January 24, 2010 · Filed under TV/Movies

That’s right, the beginning of the end is in sight for one of the most mysterious and mind-bending TV shows ever made when Lost season 6 starts showing in America on 2nd February or from the 5th February here in the UK.

During the course of the previous 5 years of Lost, we’ve seen the producers of the show employ different methods to tell us the story including flashbacks and flashforwards, in season 5 some of Lost’s plot kind of came full circle in terms of some of the island’s history and the previous seasons, such as that of the Dharma Initiative.

The executive producers of Lost, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof have hinted at using another different story-telling device for the final season and given how Lost season 5 finished, I’m personally thinking that perhaps we’ll see how people’s lives would have ended up if the crashing of Oceanic Flight 815 on the island has never happened in an alternate reality/timeline kind of way. Especially given that Cuse and Lindelof have confirmed that certain actors (whose characters are dead) will be returning to the show again in some form. What do you think to that? Is that a likely thing that will happen given what Jack wanted to do at the end of season 5 of Lost?

However Lost season 6 plays out, the producers have stated that these final episodes will focus on the battle between Jack and Locke in a “reason vs faith” kind of way.

If you’ve been following this show for the past 5 years then I’m sure you’ll be looking forward to this as much as I am and hoping that the final season will wrap up the series with a great spectacular finish…that answers most of the questions that are still left unanswered!

Have you had chance to re-watch all five seasons of Lost in preparation for the sixth and final season of Lost? I know I haven’t had the ‘time’ to do that, so if you’re in the same boat as me, why not experience the past 5 years again in just 8 minutes, 15 seconds!…But if you happen to have not seen Lost yet, I implore you not to watch the following video as it is one big spoiler that would ruin the enjoyment of the show, just go and watch it all from the first episode instead!

Are you looking forward to seeing how Lost ends? Or have you already given up watching it? Do you think they’ll answer all those unanswered questions? Which people are really dead and which aren’t? How do you think Lost season 6 will play out? Share what you think about Lost in the comments section below!

UPDATE: Well the Lost TV series has now finished and you can find out what I personally thought about the ending in my blog post called Lost Series Finale Review – The Long Con?

Best show on TV without a shadow of a doubt… Can’t believe we’re at the final season! Hope it lives up to expectations – they have to finish such a show right…

Great show, it is mind boggling, I have watched the whole series 1-5 from the begining to the end each time with rapt attension, I cant but wonder the type of intelligent thinking that was inputed into the production. However one scene I cannot reconcile is Jin’s prescence at Sun’s hospital when she was about to give birth. How come this was never referered to consisering the fact we also saw Jin travelling through time on the island after Ben moved the Island.

That was awesome! I don’t know how you managed to get it all down in 8 minutes, and do with humour – very impressive! Thank you for it.

Can’t wait for season 6 – I just finished season 5 last night and have no idea how everyone else has managed to wait for so long…I’d be going crazy.

I’m blogging my way through season 5 at http://themothchase.wordpress.com – check us out!

@ Femi, Jim was never present at birth of his and Sun’s daughter. The scene you’re refering was of Jin being sent by Sun’s father to deliver a gift for a Korean ambassador’s grandchild, who was in fact a boy. That was a flashback from before they’d crashed on the island. This is seperate from when Jin was found by Rosseau and her team, when the island was moving through time.

Cant wait till next week! Season 6:-)

Thank you Retha for the enlightenment, I did think the scene you refered to was Sun having her baby.

Speaking of Jacob, He seems to be immortal, but yet died a cheap death when Locke and Ben ambushed him.

The statue that was whole in 1977 must have been blown off by Juliet’s detonnation of the bomb, the leg of the statue seen at present day is the remains of what ever happened in 1977.

so what lies beneath the statue, in ilana’s own words.
