Lost - Sawyer Speed Painting

learn-photoshop-nowOne of my most popular early posts that I made when I started this blog was about Photoshop painting videos speeded up - so you could see the whole process involved in creating a digital piece of artwork in about 5 minutes of viewing time. The first one showed a video of Lost’s John Locke Speed Painting, that was then followed up with another one, that of Kate Austen’s Speed Painting.

Given we’ve still got over 3 months till the start of the new 4th season of Lost, I thought it’s maybe time to post another one of these people who are talented with Photoshop - especially as people seemed to enjoy watching what is possible with a computer and a bit (or maybe a lot) of creativity and artistic talent! This time it’s one of the girl’s favourites, the bad boy Sawyer himself!

If this has got you thinking Lost all over again, if you’ve not seen them before, take a look at some of my previous Lost posts such as seeing if you can find some of the Lost Easter Eggs and also the Lost Season 4 Promos and Teasers.

Are you looking forward to the next season of Lost? Will they all get rescued? What kind of changes do you think the show might go through given the newly introduced “flash-forwards” in the season 3 finale?

This is just in time because I am currently studying PhotoShop. If my pacing and understanding are right then I’m presently in the layering topic. I would like to know how to do layering so I can create paint-like portraits. I hope this book explains this matter.

I really want to learn Photoshop better, it can do so many great things with all it’s options, I just wish there was something like an evening class to attend for it! But instead books such as these Photoshop ebooks are really useful.

There is a good site called psdtuts.com which offer some very extensive tutorials for photoshop. It might be worth checking them out Simon.
