LG’s ‘Secret’ Bloggers’ Event

A couple of weeks ago LG invited me to participate in some of the launch events they had planned for their latest mobile phone handset; the ‘LG Secret’.

On Thursday 24th April (unfortunately I couldn’t attend this event), LG held a press conference to announce the name and other details of the latest in their range of ‘Black Label’ series of mobile phone handsets - until this event, no-one had been told what this new mobile would even be called.

The LG ‘Secret’ mobile phone follows very much in the footsteps of the previous Black Label class of phones; the Chocolate and the Shine. Both of which exemplified style and design for their users, incorporating the latest technology in each incarnation. Over at the LG Blog You can read a preview of the latest LG Black Label mobile.

The second event took place on the evening of Friday 25th April and was specifically held for UK bloggers (of which Zath! was one in attendance) to get a sneak peek and have a hands-on demo of the LG Secret ahead of the mid-May launch date. I’ll let you know more about what I think to this particular phone in an upcoming LG Secret review post, but so far I’m quite impressed by this new mobile and I think it’s a definite step up from the LG Viewty I reviewed back in December.

The other benefit of this event was being able to meet other UK-based bloggers in the Technology and Gadget field, it was great meeting you all and I’ve found some great new sites to visit on a regular basis! I recommend that you all take a look at these sites as they have some great content!
